Hello from Australia
RJX hobby kindly pulled out all stops to send us out the first Hurrican extreme for the biggest event in our Heli calender the Coffs Harbour fun fly, to test and to show off.
I will not go into the all the Tech. side of things in this thread as to what it's got as it is still in testing and things could change..( but from the way it went I do not think there will be many changes)
This is what we put in it.
Ace 1015 servos all round
Logitec 6100 gyro , we did have some problems with this so put in a 401
OS Hyper
Hatori 522
Futaba GV1 Guv
Align bec
flightpower rx battery pack
JR 77s Rx
RJX carbon blades
There was only 48hrs to build it before we got on the plane to go to sunny New South Wales..this is a 4 hr plane trip from Perth, so there was a major rush to get it all built with no time for run in or to set it up
The Extreme got 2 wows from everybody at the Fun fly.. one when they looked at it and one when they picked it up..It is very very light :D
We are lucky enough to be sponsors of one the best up and comming pilots in Australia, Phil..who at the moment is giving another very famous Australian pilot a run for his money :D who flew over with me to show off and fly the Extreme.
Phil found the the initial positions of the programmable head to be a bit too tame for his style of flying on the first test flight so after a few tweaks here and there on the programmable head, he was happy with the movement he was getting and it was ready to have test flight number 3 on tank number 3
How did it go after this I hear you all ask ....
Watch the Video that I will post in another thread soon
  :D
