im considering buying this heli: For SALE Miniature Aircraft X-Cell Pro Graphite 2K, this is a .60 size heli. Included with the sale are: OS .70 SZ-H engine for more power, paired with CY Muscle Pipe II exhaust. Futaba GY401 gyro with Futaba S9254 high speed digital servo for ultimate tail control. 2 sets/pair main rotor blades (MS Composite and Mavrick), RX battery, very nice painted canopy. Just add your RX/TX and 4 servos."

Via email: "I've had the X-Cell for a year now.. never crashed, flown very subtle and haven't tried any hard 3D's yet.. I'm still a bit chicken about doing it! Hehehe.. I had only flown it about 20 tank full's.. I'm married with children and I go to the field whenever me and my family get the chance. The only metal parts in it are the main rotor head assembly.. but I'm going to give away my Fury Extreme head as an added bonus"

See attached pics...
He is selling for $600 or trade for T-Rex 450(which i was considering trading for his heli)
Let me know!!
Any comments appreciated!

That's not a Pro2K...It's not even an XLPro...What that is is a basic X-cell with the Bergen G-10 frame set.

Not that it doesn't sound like a great deal for $600, but just thought you should know what you are getting.

You can see pics of my old Pro2K here if you would like to see the differences...

..scroll down about 2/3 of the way...
Good luck on your deal...

Skip it. It's an older model with older parts in critical areas such as the clutch bell. You can do better for the same or little more money.

is it possible to replace the older parts with newer ones or would they not work?

I would not buy this old machine, I agree with Dr. Ben.

Yes it is possible to replace the older parts with the newer ones. But by the time you did that, you would have as much money in the heli as a newer one would cost.
From looking at the pictures that heli seems to have had a rough life. The linkages from the bellcranks to the swashplate are not set up correctly. Duct tape on the fan shroud, have no clue what that is about. I would offer maybe $100, that way you would not be out much money.
