well my new radio came in. man these radios are confusing.. does any one have a dx6 with a program for a cp pro with this setup :

park370 bl main
gws dd tail
stock lipo
still using the 3n for rudder control..

im getting it setup for my trex by some one who knows what there doing. also can program a rex with it have it flying 3d in 5 minutes or less. but i have to setup my pro on it. well more like i want to..

Not sure if they are bl motor specific but you can probably fine tune once you get the basics down.

Btw, i am doing the exact same thing learning to set up the dx7 on the cpp...and soon I will be setting up the t-rex 450 sa which i bought used and has been sitting on a shelf waiting!
Here's another link that i found useful, can you telling i've been doing a lot of research on this lately?? Ha!

my rex isnt even here yet and i have 300 dollers worth of parts laying around. not including the radio.

how does the dx6 servos hold up in a cpp ? ims ure there better then the stock ecrap servos. i still need 4 damn ar600's. one for the pro, rex, gws slowstick, and a mini titan or rex 600. havent figured out wich one i dream about more.

the dx6 is confusing the hell out of me. i think after 5 hours of messing with it. i know how to enter the programing menu. i know some of are thinking god what dumb f&%k. i'll get it figured out sooner or later.

ya man id rather put the pro into the ground due to stupid setup mistakes then my rex. im about to check out those links. the way i leanred with my surface futaba. was there easyer to setup. but i started noticing things i didnt like , like the turning being to sharp. or way to twitchy. so you play the epa, then problem fixed. surface stuff i can set blind folded and so could some one who doesnt know anything about it. i just need a basic understanding of each thing. then learn as i fly. all of it will come with time.

The servos that come with the DX6 are the same servos used in the CP from the factory, S75.

kool. but i figured they mihgt be alittle better then the eflite servos.

The tricky part in programming is setting the pitch curve. Remember that the lowet part of the curve in default is not zero pitch. That is full negative. zero pitch is in the middle. In normal mode, you want the left of middle to be flat or a little below horizontal. this is for spoolup. I stunt modes, you have it linear allowing for full negative pitch.

Once that is out of the way, it will be easier to program.

Program your Throttle hold to have full negative and positive pitch. This will aid you in setting up the heli's pitch. Then set throttle stick to halfway. Orient all servo arms so they are near horizontal. Set servo links so that rotor head sits in the middle of the rotor hub when hung by the paddle control frame.

ya i just got done swapping my dx6 servos into my pro. i pretty much used the settings on the rcuniverse.com link posted above. think you could take a look and tell what you would change about it.

wow ok the settings on rc universe are really cracked out. buddy at hobby town got it setup. once i got everything plugged in, nothing worked correctly. it took him 3 times longer to get my pro setup then it did for him to setup the last 5 rex's ive been there to watch.but now am asured that it will fly exactly how my pro did when i first got it and he set up it.wich was like budda. but with the added betterniss of the dx6 radio. all i gotta do is learn how to tune this bird to my tast

well got my first flight in just now. i need to toy with the hh gain and ive got a bank to the right. but other then that. WOW a radio should be the first upgrade ever made. even with the banking to the right, and a cg being really tail heavy i was able to hold aperfectly still hover for about 5 seconds. i need to also adjust my throttle curves for normal mode. as i was at full throttle in normal mode with the heli barely climbing.

does any one know how to turn on the gyro sensing and how to set it up.

congrats man, i love my dx7 as well. is it tail heavy cuz you ditched the 3n1/4n1 for the ar6100? if so, try shortening the tail boom about 1/2-3/4 inch to help bring the cg back to the front.

no i still got the 3n1 to run the rudder. its tail heavy cuz i went to the 7g ar6000 rx. i really need to upgrade to some tp lipo packs this tail drifting as the pack wears down is crap. it makes the heli fly like it was all stock
