Ion-2X Questions

I ran across the MA threads tonight and the Ion-2X really caught my eye! I have a few questions.

What motor fits this beast?
Can I use my FP EVO25 10s 5000mah packs?
Is a CC 85HV ok or do I need a 110HV?
What servos?
Will a GY401 Gyro be ok?

I fly sport so not looking for blazing 3D performance.

Maybe but I am not sure how the canopy would fit and your flight time would be short. I am running (2) 4350's 5S packs myself
The CC85 works and people are running them but you may want to go with a 110 since it is not much more.
Good digital just like any other 90 sized
Sure I run one on my gasser and it is bigger than the Ion.

No Hacker a50 in a Ion?

Actually, the A50 should work well in the Ion. I never got around to it, but the 10 pole variant of that motor should do well...geared properly. I would pick the 550 rpm/volt version and start at 10:1.

I DID run A60's in the Ion...fun stuff.
