Hello

Read through the various bits of advice posted here and decided to get a Raptor 60, with a view to upgrading to a 90 later when I am more experienced. Spent a few nights on the net sourcing parts and have ordered the following. Any advice on anything else that might be useful.

Cheers

Pat

It is the most stable and flyable machine I own. Congrats!

I like the stability of the 60 too, but was not satisfied with the power. I just finished upgrading my 60 to a 90. I'm still working to find the best gearing for my flying style, but it's still one of my favorite heli's to fly. You're going o enjoy it. As far as upgrading, most of the parts are parts you're going to replace in a crash anyway, so it's relatively painless.

make sure you replace the tail rotor hub with p/n pv0499.

My 90's still a pig. :) Will the CF frames save much weight over the 60 aluminum frames? My all up weight on the converted 90 with aluminum frames is just at 11 pounds. If I could find a way to shave off a pound somewhere it'd be sweet.
