One question about the phasing (or whatever the proper name is)
What is it that it really does?
I think I read somewhere that it's for correcting (or mixing) in some maneuvers.
What would be the (undesired) effect if it's not right on let's say hovering or basic forward flight?
Does anyone knows of some reading material about it?
Thanks,
Funky

Bob talks about Phasing in the "Head Setup" video in the Raptor 620 videos. Basically it allows you to line up the flybar with the swashplate so it flips/rolls in line.

Thanks Funky, gee that was quick reply!!!!!
I just came back to post that I got a very good thread on it and your reply was here already
I'm normally not as lazy I tend to do a search on any subject before posting a Q but lately I haven't bee so lucky so I skipped the search (shame on me  )

Ya, I was posting a question in here at the same time I saw your post :)
I had the same question about the adjustable phasing when I bought the G-Force head. I just lined it up with the headblock and flew it. I didn't know what the purpose was until Bob's video... makes sense now though.

In most cases its best not to tinker with anyways. If you are corkscrewing instead of doing clean loops its possible its out of phase but its just as likely your fingers are. All my metal headblocks have phase rings and everyone is lined up same as the stock one is.

Well, thanks everyone.
The question just came up to my mind because my R90 seems to have the elev and the ail trims wrong and if I adjust the length of the push rod they get really different so i thought that may be had something to do with the phasing, but I guess I have to look for the cause somewhere else.
I guess it has to do with the crash, although today after the whole tank trying to get trimmed I realised that the screws that hold the tail boom (the ones on the main frame)
were all loose :WOW :WOW :WOW it seems like when I replaced it I forgot to tighten them :arggg: .
I don't think that's the cause of the "out of trim" but it might as well be or at least help to it.
