Spectra G manual REV 3

[Yellow Spectra]

MA's website indicated a documentation update for the Spectra. I downloaded the file and it was labeled for the Extreme head. I have the Tempest head so does this update apply to me? I also saw a REV 3 of the operators guide. Are these new documentation crucial to the Tempest and is the operator's guide new documentation that different from REV 1? Thanks.

The update will pertain to your machine. I don't think any of the updates are Tempest head version specific.

My Spectra included the Tempest head. There are some differences including the rod lengths. I have finished mine and will make a list of differences. I have forwarded a lot of corrections to Carey for both manuals and these should be in the update.

I also have the Tempest head version of the Spectra-G. When I looked on their website and saw that there was a revision 3 to the manual, I called MA to see how I would get the revised Tempest Head version of the manual. I was told that the only revisions made to the manual were some basic typo's and I could just use the original manual I had. Now I'm concerned since it sounds like there is more to it than this. Is there a revised Spectra-G Temepest head version of the Manual and Drawings?

The only differences between the two Spectra-G models is the type of head installed and the rods to control each. Nothing is changing in the head, so the revisions for typos,etc. won't be effected by the type of head that is on the machine.
