So my dad put one of these together and I flew it in his garage today. I have to say that it flew really well and was wayyyy more stable than any micro i've flown like the Blade or Axe. He has an Eflite HH gyro that leaves some to be desired but all in all not bad at all. Too bad a 401 would be too big for it.

Anyone else flying one?

Anybody making aftermarket landing gear? That's the only thing that looks sketchy on it.

I just ordered one of these. I ordered a park 400 4200kv motor for it. I heard that motor works well on the parkmite and gives enough power to go ahead and use a 401 for the tail. I'll see how it goes.

I have a Parkmite as well. Great heli, but I do not quite like the weak tail blades. I have been searching for better/stiffer tail blades.

My Parkmite has the Hornet II landing gear. They work great, makes the mite look better, and fit with minor mod (drill hole on landing legs to align with screw holes in parkmite body)

Well, I have installed the Hornet CF tail blades on my Parkmite. I really like them, they are ultra light and they provide much better tail authority now. The next purchase will be the E489 CF Hornet tail blades.

Are any of you worried about future parts availabilty?

I do worry about replacement parts. But since I enjoy flying it so much thanks to its 3D capabilities and its wisper quiet flying, I decided to stock pile on most critical parts. Also, the main blades and tail blades I use now are MS Composit CF blades for the Hornet.

Originally, I purchased the Honey Bee King II from Hobby Lobby. The lack of quality, poor fit and finish, terrible tail assembly, inability to correctly set blade tracking with its FIXED length links to the blade holders, and other issues, made me return the Honey Bee crap after its first and only flight. Then I started searching for a superb "quality" micro heli regardless of drawbacks it may have ... and found the Parkmite.

I have been flying it for several months now and currently, it is the heli that is getting the most air time :)
