I know the Spectrum is based on one of the JR radios. I am just moving over to 2.4GHz and am pretty impressed with the radio so far with a couple of gripes one which you guys may be able to help me with.

The throttle gimble has some pretty bad sticktion to it. Like I said before since this is based on one of the JR radios (not sure which one) I would assume that the JR brother may have the same problem and maybe there is a simple fix out there???

I would also assume that the famed 9303 does not have these issues and I may end up moving up to that when it becomes available.

Thanks for any help,

Thomas

I have been flying a 10X and was, as you might imagine, a bit disappointed by the gimbles in the DX7. "Sticktion" is a pretty descriptive term. I agree with it.

I do not own, but have flown, a 9303, and the sticks on it were very good.

I plan on obtaining a 12X when they become available.

For what it is worth, I opened up the DX and loosened the drag a bit and put in some better lube and it is MUCH better now. There is just a bit of sticktion at the start but after that it is pretty smooth, not jittery like before. So far I am pretty happy with it but may take a hard look at the 9303 2.4GHx after they have been out for awhile.
