ok so i got a dx6 a few days ago, just bought a ar6k rx got everything programmed and setup. i went to charge my tx pack while it was in the radio. i mistakenly plugged adifferent plug into the charging jack. the plug i put in WAS NOT PLUGGED INTO THE WALL SOCKET. but it was plugged into my tx for almost a hour. when i plug in the correct charger and have it plugged into the wall. the red light doesnt come on, but if i flip the power switch on i hear 1 beep. seeing as wrong charger wasnt not plugged into the wall i dont think it would have anything more then drain pack. but when i plug my tx into my realflight g3.5 tx it doesnt power on. do you guys think i fryed my radio ? i really hope not.

Do not put in a larger amp fuse than the one in there, take it from me! 8103 blew the fuse and a diode had to send it in for repair, it was only $10 to fix, but still... result of using Futaba charge by accident.

ya i went to 4 different radio shacks to find the correct one. at every store i was told it would be ok to put a slightly larger one in there. i then turned around and walked out.

Here a trick I use when I have multiple chargers / cords. Attach a colored wire tie to the end of the plug. Gives you a visual or warning before you plug it in.

Blue heatshrink for my JR and red for my Futaba it holds very tight on the plug end and just barely shrinks down on the wire, but efective and adds some support.
I did POP the fuse once and blew a diode to boot... :arggg: only ONCE... :)
