Does anyone have just a plaing green field for G3?

Hi Everybody,

I know this is going to sound funny, but is there just a plain green field with nothing in the background for G3? Something like CSM10?

Don't laugh, I am serious. It has nothing to do with weather I like backgrounds, I do, but I have a friend who has fairly poor eyesight who is interested in helis, and he has a hell of a time getting his orientation with stuff in the background. He can see much better with my CSM Sim where nothing is in the background. I can turn off everything I can find to turn off in G3, but there are still hills or trees or something int eh background besides just a green screen. His PC only has USB ports and he does not yet have a TX so CSM won't work for him.

Use the editor and make one...or take one of the fields you like and remove all the opjects.

I tried removig the objects, but with work, phone ringing off the hook, a 4YO running madly around and my friend here I guess I just did not figure it out yet. Man what day. I will be soooo gald when the boy goes back to preschool.

OK I have pretty much been through the airport editor and I cannot find a way to get rid of the mountains in the background. Even when I create a new airport the mountains are there. I'm still trying...

Here is a simple airport. Just a windsock and a runway. You'll have to unzip it into the Airports directory.

To hide the mountains, go to Simulation | Settings | Wind and Weather | Weather and set the Haze distance to 5 miles.
