Any problems using futaba servos and gyro with jr receiver..

...and radio. I bought a 8103 for the 8 channels and got a 9 channel jr receiver. Then, I learned that the futaba servo plugs don't fit in the receiver. What I'm gonna do is just remove the case from the receiver and wrap with plenty of padding and foam to protect it. But my question is, am I gonna run into any other problems?

Just remove the tabs from the servo connectors.

Razor or hobby knife, a couple of seconds and you are good to go.
