Hello,, newbie question here,, just got a 450se ,and???

Ok heres the question it has a JR770 receiver in it and the radio is a Futaba T6xhs. The radio was one that he had lying around he said it would work with the receiver but I can not get anything to work when I plug in the battery. They are both on the same frequency but still nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated, am I right to guess they are not compatible?

JR and Futaba, in the vast majority of cases dont work together in north america.

That reciever is PCM and in no case is one manufacturers PCM compatible with the other so no it wont work.

I'd suggest for a TRex a Futaba 146iP with a single coversion short fm crystal of the same channel that your transmitter is.

Other choice is to get a JR Tx, which would be my way of dealing with it.

You will find that the Futaba 6 channel is very feature limited.

The JR 770 is a very nice Rx. I am running one in my Trex.
