AXI 2826/8motor slightly undersized.
Machined 6ozs of plastic from frame, fabricated direct drive pinion from original Hirobo clutch, saved an
additional 4 ozs.
Beginner pitch settings +3.5 - +7.5
GER Trv adj = Gyro gain 30
Rudder travel +-150 per mfg with limit set on gyro pot for no TR linkage binding.
Ail/Elev expo 50% servo throw 13mm per mfg. spec.
Hover at 1,390 headspeed, (Skytach Optical) 21a (AF Wattmeter)
Machined .010" from damper rubber diameter to reestablish concentricity and allow a bit more
coning angle. A bit more pitch with the reduced compression of the damper rubbers and the hover is
much improved, stable and predictable with plenty of cyclic authority.
All Z-bend linkages changed to ball joints.
3,800g total weight with scale floats.
