I just posted this in the T-Rex forum but I thought that it might help some here also as I'm a noobie too. Hope this helps some.

As terrific as Finless and Jermo's videos are, I was left a little confused as to wire placement in the Spektrum AR7000 RX. There are so many receivers on the market they cannot cover all of them. Bottom line, I couldn't have built and flown my HDX450 SE V.2 without their videos.
Here is how I set-up my AR7000 RX:
ESC - Throttle
Aileron (left side of frame when looking from tail to front) - Aileron
Pitch - (controls right side of swash) - AUX1
Elevator - (on my HDX servo is on the right side) - Elevator
Gyro - 3 wire lead to Rudder and the 1 wire lead to Gear plug in RX
I think that covers the wire placement in the RX. Now Just check (without motor plugged in) that everything is moving and tilting in the correct direction.
