Interesting lipo tests here:

Some interesting things I've found:

Of Flightpower EVO 20
http://www.slowflyer.ch/downloads/tn060051.pdf

Discharge to 2.9v/cell (96% of rated capacity) capacity
dropped by %7 over 36 cycles. Discharging to 3.1v/cell
less capacity drop now observed for next 50 cycles.
(keeping a max 80% discharge rule is looking good here)

Plus other interesting data there.

More testing of another Flightpower EVO 20 pack
http://www.slowflyer.ch/downloads/evo1500.pdf

%10 degradation per 100 cycles at 1C charge rate. %15
degradation per 100 cycles per 3C charge rate.

Some Kokam cells
http://www.slowflyer.ch/downloads/tn07004.pdf
Only %8 capacity lost over 360 cycles and 2C charging
the whole time. Discharge down to 2.7v and still hardly any degradation observed.

I discharging the cells Im testing to 1.95 - 1.90 volts per cell almost have 50 cycle on them with no capacity change. No such thing of the 80% rule on this pack...

The trick with the EVO cells is not to take them below about 3.4 and we have gotten 400 cycles on a set in Clint's Ion-X and over 300+ on multiple sets. We charge at 1C.

Dana in CA is doing a bunch of testing as well. Very interesting.

Agreed..... 100's of flights for me on many different FP packs and 80% rule still keeps me at 3.4V after the pack rests from a flight.
