I finally got my honeybee cp2 stable in a hover - I think my boom strike was the best thing to happen to it, b/c it forced me to take it all apart and balance everything.

My only concern is the way the engine heats up - I lubricated everything, and I dont think my gear mesh is too tight - I havent run it for a whole pack yet, b/c the engine gets too hot to touch.

I wonder if this is due to the weight - its currently at 385 grams with the CNC head, cooling fins and superskids added (with battery).

Is this about normal weight? I still have the original head and skids, I just never used them since it came with the CNC one..

depends on your motor. park 370 is for up to 400g. after that get a park 400.

im just above 350g

but also being on the heavy side isnt that bad. it calms the heli down alittle and allows it to handle the wind just tad bit better. i used to run a 1500 3s pack. just a hair smaller then a 21003s pack for a trex. that put me up there at just under 400g

My Freestyle Belt Honeybee Cp2 weighs in at 365g. I gained weight becaue I upgraded to a Phoenix 25 esc. That's 15g more. Still a very light belt micro.
