I plan on installing a UBEC in my Mini Titan. Please tell me how to wire it. It is wired between the battery and what? Do I need some kind of Y-connector to join it to the wire from the ESC to the trottle channel on the receiver?

Scroll down a little on this page for an example.

The ESC is still plugged into the throttle channel as it would be without the BEC. But when using an external BEC you have to cut the red (middle) wire so that the ESC no longer powers the RX and servos. The BEC input is spliced into the power source and its output can plug into any empty RX channel. If you don't have a spare channel to plug it into then you can use a "Y" connector and plug it into any channel. Be sure to splice the BEC into the battery wire at a point AFTER the power switch so that you can shut the whole thing off.
