am i getting this right. will there be a free set of blades. because of the delay with the Goblin. or is it only at this site?

Seems most distributors are supplying a free set of blades, just HeliDirect is not.

Blades with the kits
We confirm that every kit will come with 690mm SAB green version main blade and 115mm green version tail blade. These blades are specially designed for the Goblin 700 helicopters. It does not only match the color of the canopies but also are optimized C.G to work perfectly with the Goblin. Enjoy.

no word of extra pair of blades

It's quite likely that the extra blades supplied by some distis is simply an add on out of their own pocket to drive sales.

Today we start shipping first 100 kits to distributors for demo only. The rest will be shipped out shortly in about 2 weeks. Sorry for the delay but our factory in Italy has not able to work for the last 2 weeks due to snow storm emergency.

i just dont understand SAB right now...

first they say that when weather in italy gets better they will ship the kits...
then when the weather is better they say that "sorry we only have 100 demo kits becose of bad weather" WHAT???

why dont they just tell the thruth when they know that something is not going to happen...

this is not good for SABs reputation :thumbdown:

my guess is that it is summer before we get our kits out from the italy :arggg:

Just got this email from HeliDirect:
"We deeply apologize, as SAB has recently informed us of a delay in our latest order, which was due to arrive on 2/15/12. SAB has informed us that the 1st batch of kits will be arriving between February 27th – February 29th, and the 2nd batch is due near the end of March."

Got the same. Two things you should all realise if you don't already:

1. When SAB posted they were sending 100 demo units, they did not really mean demo. It was a bad translation. The 100 they are sending out are for their dealers to fulfil pre-orders
2. I'm in the first batch of these 100!!!! :fly

If that first batch goes to only HD then I'm in there too. I just asked where I stand and HD told me that I was #78 and if SAB sends what they promised to HD then I will be in the first batch. Fingers crossed

#13 for me. So far I've received fantastic service and communications from HeliDirect. Could not be happier ( except if I had a Goblin on the bench).

#45 - So depends on how many they sent to HD. 100 Total for the world in wave 1, so could go either way....
No worries, I think the communications have been better than any other launch I have seen. Cannot name even one where they gave status..
