R/C Copter on Sony PlayStation

I've been into R/C for a number of years (mostly gas monster trucks) and have just recently caught the heli bug. I picked up R/C Copter for the PlayStation and was wondering how accurate its response is. Having never flown a real bird yet, I don't know whether to trust my experience with this simulator, or if it would be better to pick up a copy of G3.

if you pick up a copy of g3 you wont be able to fly a heli until spring 0f 05 when they realease the upgrade for helis. i found that out the hard way when i picked up g3. then had to go and get g2 just to fly a heli. it seems ok though. :arggg:

The G3 helicopters are released and have been for a week or two. :)

Flys a lot better than G2. Lots of cool new features and setup options.

Any questions you have about G3 can be answered here. There is one of the designers and couple of the beta testers that frequent Helifreak daily.

Thanks David! G3 has arrived and everyone has been very helpful in troubleshooting my installation. I have a new video card enroute, and should be flying shortly!
