To bad i could not get some nice inverted shots, due to the wind

You can even hear my girfriends comments on the second.
Rather cold and windy then!

I really love flying the 550.
I'ts hard to get a good vid but my girfriend does a fine job in keeping up with my moves
I use 500mm gaui CF blades, 3300Mah Outrage XP's and a Z20-980
I try not to bang the collective, but use max cyclic quite a lot.

I liked your vids too btw! Good job with the fixed cam!

I will take some pictures this weekend.

Its a stock CF 550 with the flybarless mod.

2 Hyperion 3S 3200 or 3300 batteries
Gaui 365 flybarless module
Stock gearing. 13 tooth pinion on the motor
6017 receiver - 6 volt BEC
Futaba 9650
12 FGH radio

I think that covers it.

yea good flight :). though it makes me more and more confused as to why my 550 keeps eating gears .

it has to be set up. maybe you should take ray stacy's offer of letting him take a look at it, and getting it flying with a video of kyle spankin it.:)

hah yea but my only issue is the front gear keeps stripping I . Never did have any problems with tail kicks so it wouldn't help everybody who has that problem. I'm thinking of getting a logo 500 to replace it ...

this is the kind of problem that empire hobby wants to get figured out. they want to know about the gear stripping issue, as well as the tail kick issue. ray has made a generous offer. if you can part with it for a few weeks, i would chat with him, and see what he says. the best thing to come out of this could be a fix by the factory in future kits. it's a win win proposition.

i know the logo heli's are top notch, but get ready for a serious price change on crash costs.

get a logo... but still talk to ray about getting the hurri sorted out...as mentioned... when you wad up the logo... get ready bleed out of the wallet..
