Very nice paintjob WuTangcl! I use similar colours as they are great for visibility but I'm pretty 'basic' at spray painting, that looks very special.

very nice colors... you have got a very colored machine
I have just a question: where did you pick the landing skid. It doesn't seem to be the GAUI genuine one ?

@ukgroucho,
No it really is nothing special, nothing you cant do with some tape and plastic bags...
thats all I did..
Yes lion78, you are right, it isn't the original,
its the Neon orange T-Rex 600 nitro skid from HD

Is there a reason for the extra plastic on the batt's?

the plastic is heat shrink...it hold the cells together. in his case it's clear

Here's a few pics I shot of my 550. Basically, I'm just waiting for the front main gear and I'm good to go. I have everything else setup. CFS kit, 8717s on cyclic, 770/8900G on TR w/ Spektrum stepdown, Phoenix HV85 ESC, 6S1P 3200mAh 30C batteries, 1500W 1100kV upgrade motor. Should fly Thursday if the gears get here.

No any modifications are needed except one small hole in the center of the front gear for the canopy's mounting bracket.

Hi All,
The ground is here in Austria realy closer than elsewhere on earth.
So I thought, I take some pictures of my Hurricane before he hits the ground again.
By the way, many thanks to the ReadyHeli - Crew
They have everything you need for your GAUI
OK, here are the fotos:

Have you ever seen a GAUI 75A ESC burning? No?
Ok, this is your chance.
Take a look at the fotos we took yesterday.
By the way, yesterday was the 13th of May
I will never fly again on a 13th of any month
I think its not my LuckyNumber
The best is, I have all parts except the ESC.

Sorry to see that - was the ESC burning the cause or result of the crash ?
