Could you please tell me what make of fuse you have used for your plastic Hurri. I myself have a spare 550 and that is what I would like to do, infact the very same as I love the Hughes 500.
Cheers,
Fred
+1, I want to do the exact same thing, is that a .30 size fuse?

This is a Funkey Fuselage , that I got from a 30 size nitro bird.
It was clear fibreglass and did the finishing myself (with help ) :)
Think there is a partial build thread on the scale section of the forum. Did about 2 years ago- HTH
Ok , just been searching and here is the link to the other specs etc

Wondering what kind of motor and ESC this guy is using? he hasnt posted for a few years so maybe hes afk.
I got a 550 that is just a wallflower without an ESC and tail servo, since I is po for a while so Im just flyin my b400 frankencopter:D

Kavic, that motor is a stock Gaui motor, and based on the size of the front gear (looks small like a 42T ) it is likely the 850kv motor.

ESC's a CC Phoenix 80. Broke mine out of it's drawer just to be sure! Good ESC when it was working, but update the firmware and you're probably screwed! Mine died after a firmware update and endpoint setup.

Is that canopy custom? t-rex 600 landing gear?

Few other flights here as well...currently on fight 27...love how smooth it flies!
Here are all there listed cameras..

But I used this one as it is flat and light weight. Make sure you get a Class Six MicroSD card minumum or the video will not be smooth.

Agreed, you did a great job on eliminating vibrations. Most cameras on planks aren't that smooth...
