Anyone got any "naked" pics of their Raptor 50s so I can get an idea of where to put all the electronics? (Rx, flight pack, governor etc..) I've finally got this thing all set up, just need to clean up wiring and finalize gear placement before I try and get her airborne this weekend.
Thx

Yep, checked your gallery shortly after my post and found those (or similar) pics.. Heading out to the LHS to pick up fuel tubing (not taking any chances with the existing plumbing) and foam and will hopefully finish this thing up tonight.

Good idea. I had some fuel tubing go bad in my 30's gas tank causing a stall and crash :arggg: That original tubing that comes in the TT kits is :BSS

Dunno where this tubing came from as I bought the heli "used" but it's never seen fuel (at least I can't see/smell/feel any residue) and most certainly had never flown with how badly it was assembled/set up. Since it's all at least two years old, It's coming off and being replaced..
Looks like my battery in my field box is toast so back to the LHS or motorcycle shop to pick up a replacement... :arggg:

Welp, she's all done... Well, almost.. Taking a break before I set up the governor and work out throttle and pitch curves - THEN she's done...
Gonna see if I can get 'er started tomorrow and see if she flies.
Thx for all the help..

Welp, we're grounded due to "overnight feline maintenance."
Had the heli sitting on the kitchen table last night and it appears at least one of my daughter's cats decided to make a snack out of the Rx antenna wire. Came downstairs this morning and found 3 pieces of it on the floor under the table - lost about a foot of it - so I've got to pull the Rx, open the box and solder on another piece of wire.
Figures.. I think I'll break out the 600 and go burn some electrons before I dive back into the Raptor..
Anyone need a couple of black, long haired cat pelts?
