A question for the tempest gurus out there...
I have found a strange problem during a tempest setup.
ECCPM looks good. No interaction but the amount of available pitch cyclic throw varies from the top and bottom of the collective travel.
Roll cyclic is fine.
To explain, at the top of the collective travel, there is more rear cyclic and the bottom, there is more front.
It seems like a differential issue but I have played around with the rod lengths to the elevator servo and bell cranks and have managed to get it to be an equal amount of each.
I have set the servo to 2.5 degrees offset to the rear as per the manual.
The swash plate offset equates to around I turn of the bell crank to swashplate link.
I realise that this will mean very little as to how the helicopter will fly, but as I am building this machine for a friend, I want it to be as close as possible.
Thanks,
Lawso
