I either tightend the backplate screw to tight and put red locktite on it. Either way the screw head is stripped. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks :arggg:

Take a dremel tool with a cutoff wheel on it. Cut a slot in the head of the screw and take it out with a flat blade screwdriver. I have done this numerous times with great results. Heat the case around the screw with a small torch before trying to remove it. This will release the loctite.

Ditto!
I use a soldering gun to warm the case.

That should do. But if I'm not wrong the screws are kind of in bedded into the head,(on my .70 they are on my .91 they are not) I think I'd try to use a partially worn cutting disk so the diameter of it is smaller minimizing damage to the back plate.
The other suggestion I'd like to add is, I don't know what kind of hex wrenches you use, but I threw away the regular ones and bought a set of the ones (screw driver type) they use in nitro cars (pricey though) and never had a stripped screw again. Sometimes I even need to lever them attaching a 18mm spanner on it's handle to be able to loose the engine mount screws. I love them.
Just my $0.02 :)
P.S. Heating the case (or even the screw)as they said also help lots!

Well, Just going to send the engine in. I am having another problem with it. I got the motor in on 5/17. Since then I have lost a total of 6 carb retaining screws. They just fall out in flight. So I believe they are going to handle that under warranty. I did pick me up a screw driver set. I love it. 'It is a bit system. The shaft on the driver extendes to just over 9 inches if I needed it to... I love them here is a picture.

I would suggest picking up a dial indicator set and also a high point balancer. If your losing screws, it is not the motors fault. Seems like you need to check the run out and balance of the fan.
I seriously doubt screws being lost is covered under warranty.

Yeah I need to get that too. But the screws would not tighten up at all. Thanks That is probably something I need to get.
Is my wallet feeling lighter?
If it is a Unbraco (internal hex) Then i have solved similar problems, by hammering a TORX bit in insted og a HEX bit. Use a slightly larger torx.
This is a last solution. The torx bit will probaly die.
