The 32 motor is ok. If you have a choice I would get the OS 37. I run the OS 32 and its ok on power, but the Raptor could really use more. For flying around its great, but when it comes to aerobatics you can feel the power lacking. You have to be very smooth with collective management through any flips/rolls/etc.

I have been flying a Raptor .30 V2 for a few weeks now. It is extremely easy to fly, but does not have much in the way of power or control authority compared to a Raptor .50 that I flew a week or so ago.
It is extremely smooth and stable, and would make a great trainer, but it is just too slow on the cyclic and has no "punch".
I am going to convert mine to a .50.

The motor, servos and radio are all bottom of the barrel.
a agree with everyone above the OS .32 Lacks a little in power. i got to fly a 50 once i think that it would be just as easy to learn on and has a much better punch out!!! Servos i have learned the hard way to get something good to start with or they will just wear out quick and maybe even fail in flight :arggg: I have White Paddles and red dampeners on my 30 V2 and it definitely Improved the cyclic response (probably a little to much for my ability) if you can afford a few more $$ the Futaba 7CHP is PCM and a little nicer radio. according to RCHeli Mag it will be available in 2.4Ghz shortly. (oh i can't wait) another option to look at is the Raptor 50 Titan. looks cool to me and even comes in a kit form now so you know all the parts have thread lock on them when you go fly. i think thats my next bird. hope this helps, just my 2 cents

I started with a Raptor 30 v1 OS 32 and a 6ch Futaba and s148 and the old G301 gyro a few years back. It was a great heli and l learned a lot from her. I did my frist rolls and invert hover with a OS32 its a good engine the 37 has more power true; but if your learning the 32 will work if you want more out of your engine try 20% or 30% fuel. I wound get a good gyro like a gy401 with the 9254 it will help. But just keep her stock burn fuel, and be safe. :fly
