I run Futaba servos and want to recrimp them with JR connectors.
Can anyone recommend where I can get extra JR connectors and the crimp tool?

whoa, whoa, whoa, WHY would you recrimp them??
Trim the 'J' portion off the futaba connector and plug it into your JR gear. Align the darkest color wires the same way and go.
the newer Futaba servos come with the bevel already on the side of the connector to make it easy.

yea, it's really much simpler to just whittle off the tab on the Fut. connector.
It's done ALL the time.

Yeah .. Thats what I currently do, but I find you also need to sand them down slighty as they are a very tight fit.
Looks messy .. so I was looking to recrimp them.

tight fit is good, they tend not to back out of the rx as easily on the bench and more importantly: IN FLIGHT.
Just shave them off and leave them be.

sometimes I sand them down (well, whittle down some edges).
then I run some dental floss through the joined connectors and knot it to prevent any
in-flight separation

I did too until I had one back out of the receiver.
Luckily it was on spool-up and no crash, but imagine 15 minutes of a really high idle on a 90..

I know a firm fit is a good fit, but these were more than firm. I pushed them and couldnt get them back out again. I ended up using plyers and mashing the connector in the process. I found that just a little 'wet and dry' paper works well. They are still a firm fit, without requiring plyers to get them back out.
Thanks.
