I have purchased 3x Futaba S9252 digital servos to use in my new R50SE. As I understand it these servos should only be operated at 4.8v and not 6v.

My LHS has sold me a Thunder Power 2S 7.4v 3400mAh Li-Po and an Align RCE-B3X External BEC. The BEC output is 5.8v 3A and I am concerned that this voltage is too high for the 9252 servos – I certainly don’t want to fry 3 brand new 9252 servos.

Included with the Align BEC is a 5.1v regulator that goes between the 401 gyro and the 9254 tail servo.

Any advise and/or comments would be most welcome, thanks.

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine.
I read here about quite few people running 6V on the 9252's
