new to forum, need help

first i would like to say, im new to the forum, :D
me and my sisters just bought our dad a blade cp, i don't know much about helis, im a nitro truck guy, :mrgreen:

he crashed the heli and now it has a problem with the 4 in 1, all of the functions work, except the one the make the main rotor turn, it doesn't turn it, but if you plug it in the slot for the tail rotor, it spins just fine.

so im thinking its the 4 in 1 and a replacement one is about 70bucks, before he spends the money on it is there anyother test that i can do to determine whats broke, and if not is there anyway i can replace it cheaper ??

you could always remove the 4n1 and open the case up. could be a simple solder joint. if you dont have a soldering iron and dont know how to solder. try a local hobby shop. some shops will help to figure out what is the cause of the problem, then fix it. but not all hobby shops do this

if you guys get addicted, buy a good radio the day you see the light. then a direct drive tail, along with a gyro. the g90 is a deecent gyro. i have not had one problem with mine.

so it was the 4 n 1, dad had to buy a new one, and i am sending the old to horrizn hopefully for a warranty :lol:
