Hi

Two batteries both look like they are in trouble :dontknow

They are both TP 2070mah/11.1 V 3 cell

Battery 1

The first battery when I plug into my TP205 the three cell lights flash 5 times then two cells flash. It looks like it is balancing from then on. Different cells light up for a few secs every now and then.

If I leave it, all the lights go out. If I unplug then plug it back in, it then goes through the same processes as above.

I’ve charged the battery with the tp205 connected. The charger comes to end of its charge, but the tp205 doesn’t show end of charge and looks like it is balancing again.

If I use it in the heli it takes off, but looses power within 30 secs or so.

Battery 2

This goes through the same process as above initially, but when I plug this one into the charger the orange light flashes on the tp205 and it beeps.

Now I think this is because one or more of the cells have dropped below the minimum voltage, so I’ve left it on charge for an hour at .3c.

Any ideas or are these two batteries headed for the bin :dontknow

No Idea ...but I have 2 just like yours. Mine only had about 30 flights each. One day the wouldn't last but a minute. Iv'e tried all that you have. Tonight I think I will salvage the plugs from them and say adios! :arggg:

I'm in the same boat.

After many attempts the balancer is just balancing. According to the cryptic instructions I should be able to charge/balance at .3a which I'm going to try today.

Still don't hold out much hope though, as the battery doesn't seem to hold the charge!

My fault should have had a balancer from day 1 :arggg:

Thanks Air_Alpheus

I've sent an e-mail to TP, looks like I better chase it up :!:

I got another TP2070 yesterday, hope it doesn't go the same way.

I'm going to break it in and balance it on every charge now though
