I've installed a stabilizer 3D on my Trex 600 and I'm having trouble getting it to work correctly. The problem is when I take off into a hover and then turn on the stabilizer it changes the heli's pitch and it goes straight up. I can lower the gain to where this does not happen but I seem to get no stabilization at all then. I have reread the instructions many times rechecked my wiring many times also. I've searched this forum and RR and RCG for any one else having this problem and have found other useful info but came up empty on this specific problem. I'm using a DX7 radio and have it connected this way,
AR7000 receiver elevator(ch 3) to stabilizer nick 1 input.
AR7000 receiver aileron(ch 2) to stabilizer roll 1 input.
AR7000 receiver pitch (ch 6) to stabilizer roll 2 input.
AR7000 receiver aux2 (ch 7) to stabilizer sense input.
Stabilizer out roll 2 to pitch servo.
Stabilizer out roll 1 to aileron servo.
Stabilizer out nick 1 to elevator servo.
Stabilizer out sensor 1 and 2 to the correct sensor on the sensor unit.
The aux 2 switch is set up so that position 1 has the sense gain, position 2 has gain set to 0 for off or disabled. I have done the calibration on the ground per the instructions. I've also done an in air calibration by setting aux 2 position 2 for -100 gain and momentarily going from 1 to 2 on the aux 2 switch and then landing and resetting gain. I don't know what else to do any suggestions?
