I understand the visual aid bit, it would sure be usefull.

I'm new to AP and I'm making a mount to fit my Knight 50 pro, using an Askman gimbled promount to support my jvc mini DV video camera. I am making it to attach to my existing skids with cable ties. I'll use foam on the existing (Heli) skids to isolate vibrations to the camera, but will additional foam on the new lower (camera mount) landing skids help with vibration reduction? :dontknow

Not really, but it will save your CF mount from ground damage.
Also best way to cut pool noodle is a good long bread knife ;)
