I am gonna take the TT-39 out of my Raptor 30 and put in a OS-37. Will it bolt right in or do I have to get different mounting hardware,muffler,fan...etc?

I recently had an OS32 and OS37 and they both bolt right on the stock TT motor mount.

I got a 37. The screws kept falling out of the carbs. The motor would lean way up. So just check the carb screws. My engine was brand new and they said they would fix it...OH yeah I went through 6 screws trying locktite..the only thing I did not try was superglue..and JB weld

WELL THIS IS MY FIRST NITRO HELI AND I BOUGHT IT USED. ENGINE RUNS, I JUST HAVE TO TUNE IT RIGHT AND NO OTHER STRUCTURAL SIGNS OF ABUSE. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT I THINK I BINDED UP THE GEARS IN THE STARTER SHAFT. I HAD THE WRONG CHANNELS MIXED TOGETHER AND AT FIRST I COULDN'T EVEN MOVE THE MAIN ROTOR. I DROPPED THE ENGINE, CLEANED IT UP, AND MOUNTED AGAIN. IT FREE'D UP BUT THEN IT WOULD NOT SPIN CLOCKWISE. I CLEANED IT UP AGAIN BUT THERE WAS STILL GRINDING NOISES COMING FROM THE START SHAFT. ANYWAY, AFTER ALL THIS I TRIED TO START MY HELI AGAIN BUT THE STARTER SHAFT WOULD NOT ENGAGE. IT JUST KEPT SPINNING. I TRIED BOTH DIRECTIONS AND NOTHING. I BOUGHT NEW CLUTCH LINING BUT DON'T THINK THAT IS GOING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. CAN ANYONE SHINE SOME LIGHT?? OH YEAH ITS A RAPTOR 30 WITH O.S.37 SH SUPPLYING POWER. NOT QUITE SURE IF ITS A V1 OR V2. THANKS!!

I am new. I would check about changing the one way start shaft thinging majig. Oh yeah for anyone else. I ended up just putting a larger screw in ..and is working fine. I got the screw out of a computer. One of the frame screws worked great.

Are we talking bad about the TT engine here?

I am about to buy a 30 or a 50, but I am not sure about the TT engine that it comes with. It's making me nervous. I don't do 3D flight or anything, but regardless, are the TT engines troublesome?

Sorry, I can't help you with your problem, but I just wanted to let you know that typing in upper case letter is considered shouting. :mrgreen:
