The other CPP crasher went to a Heavy duty gear and stainless steel shaft, now it has no power. If you upgrade the the auto-rotation gear with the clutch and the stainless steel shaft do you also have to upgrade to the brushless motor. He got it into a Hover and the Light on the mixer went to red instantly. Could it be the combo of the gear or is it the Batteries?

It is probably that your pitch is messed up now. When I changed over I had to readjust the pitch on my blades. Try that, I bet that's your problem.

Cool I hope that is al itis,,how do we adjust the pitch?

Well you have to adjust the linkages on the head. When you adjust them so that the swashplate goes up you gain more negative pitch. Swashplate down is positive pitch. If you have a pitch guage you can set your pitch at -2 (this is what I do, it may not be optimal) when the throttle is all the way down. No pitch guage, just adjust the blades so that they are very slightly in the negative (blowing air up) at zero throttle. When I had the stock TX I used to disconnect the power to the motors than flip my TX into stunt mode, put the throttle stick at 50% than adjust my blades so they were perfectly level ( 0 degrees pitch), than hooked the power to the motors back up and made sure the blades were tracking well. That system seemed to work well.
Take these suggestions with a grain of salt as I am still learning myself. If this works than cool.

no your right man, dissconnect both the main and tail motors. flp to idle up and set the stick to the middle. then adjsut the linkages. THE SMALL ONES.

Well I checked mt pitch on My heli, the pitch was fine but I found that I had a Bad servo. I had some chatter so I got on the Chat and MX300 gave me a hand and so did a few other guys. SO i learned something, before you order the obvious broken parts do a full check. Now I have to order a servo and it will be atleast a week before I can fly my CPP. I hope my CX gets here soon I am forgetiing everything that I had learned. :arggg:

it'll come back, i havent flown in a few weeks. once i get outside and hover tail in for about 10 seconds allt he controls will come back. i think i have 2 good eflite servos for acp or cpp..wouldnt take much to ship them.if you want them for backs make an offer...

When My wife sends stuff it takes close to a month to get here, When I order from Companies it gets here in about 7 or 8 days,,,,,,,,so far. and if the weather is bad or the Bad guys are shooting it takes even longer. It has been pretty calm so I hope my CX getts here soon. My tail boom got here yesterday, and I ordered everything the same day so it should get here soon.
