A GWS DD tail will last a good long time if you don't have your gyro set to high. I was getting about 200 flights on mine. If your gyro is cranked up it will burn one up in 1 or 2 flights. I feel a brushless tail motor really isn't worth the money if you set your gyro right.

i have my gyro set to where the tail woudl get a slight wag then i backed off 1/8 of a turn tail holds fine. cept for the stupid ass tail drift cuz eflite couldnt put a better lipo in it
i mean even the eflite 1000ma 11.1v lipo is worse then the 800 that came with the pro... the 1000ma is only rated at 7c..
upgrade your packs to get the tail to hold good.. a hh gyro is also needed.
