So I'm looking for something to fly indoors and outdoors(main purpose would be indoors though) and just wondering from the people that have flown both which is better? I'm leaning towards a MQX mainly because once my mcpx is converted ill have a bunch of 550 batts so I figured they could share batts. Also never tried a quadcopter and it looks like it dosen't have any problems(too soon?) like the msrx has.

IMHO, there is no comparsion between the two as they are completely different. Considering your requirements, indoor, I would go with the mSRX. If your're leaning towards the MQX, how much indoor space do you have?

I have the mSRX and absolutely love it. I've flown in outside with moderate wind (10-15mph) and it handled it with no problems.

I had more then enough room to learn and fly a mcpx around in the family room 25x15 or something and been practicing inverted hovering in my room 10x10 or so with it. So I figure I have the room I'm just looking for something to replace it that will be just as fun and a little more relaxing. Which brought me to is the MSRX or MQX better and more fun to fly around?

Mqx for outdoors. Yes it's small enough to hover and do piros with but it really will shine outdoors with room to move and get some speed. Incan fly my msrx in really tight circles in my small shop with no issues or worries.

I have an MSR and an MCPx, and now an MQX. The MSR is really not very good outdoors with even a slight breeze. I don't know how well a MSRx will fair.

The MCPx (for me) is not so good indoors, I think it has to do with my lame control capabilities. (this at least gives some reference)

The MQX is very good indoors and out. While the 'rotor area' is much larger than a single (so it probably gets affected by wind more) is is quite powerful and can really attack directionally. Incidentally, I also have a 120SR, which is no comparison, I think it's really kind of a poor compromise 0 too large for fun indoors, not enough attack capability to work well in a breeze.

my 2 cents!!

I would suggest the mSRx. I have the mSRx, 120 Sr, mCPx, blade 400, and FBL Trex 450. The mSRx is actually my favorite of all of them now. I can fly it in my living room without getting off the couch. I can do tight tail in funnels, figure 8s, piros, circuits, etc with only about 10'x10' space. I do love my mCPx, but I like to have a lot of space to fly it. I can hover it and so small circuits in the living room, but I feel somewhat on edge and nervous while I am doing it. With the mSRx I am completely relaxed and am not worried about crashing or hitting anything because I feel like I have complete control over it.
