You don't need to buy a new computer ..... just a new graphics card. I'm running a 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro. Check around at local computer shops for used trade-ins or check E-Bay.
Its a laptop, i refuse to own a desktop at home. I just got word back from Phoenix and they say that even though its below the minimum requirement they have other users using the same card with no problems :D

I run Phoenix on a several year old IBM Thinkpad (notebook). It runs very well. The only issue I have is that I need to run it full screen (not in a window). If I don't run it full screen, the CPU can't keep up and it gets very jerky.
Of course, you purchase it at your own risk. However, if it does not work, you should be able to sell Phoenix easily.

Hi HFG,
I'm running on a dell latitude d600 with a mobility radeon 9000 with no problems. This laptop is about 4 years old but runs fine.
Cheers,
