I got a brand new Trex 450 and am training with the phoenix simulator. I was wondering which model matches best to the trex physics. I downloaded the Trex450 from the phoenix page. It seems that the physiscs are not the best. Currently I'm training using the Raptro 30 because it is much more stable and not a jojo in the simulator.
Does anybody have any experience?

The Trex 450 in Phoenix is set up as a serious 3D machine. You can turn do the sim speed, or reduce the cyclic settings to tone it down a bit.

But I like flying th esim where it is a bit harder to fly than real life, so when I fly th ereal thing it seems so easy.

Download the TREX 600 and use that for training. As Pinecone said the 450 is set up for mad 3dz. The stock nightglow heli is another great trainer as the colored rotor discs and skid colors help as visualization references.

I didn't want to fiddle with the setting, seems to be a never ending story and cause I don't know how the Trex really feels I don't know where to stop.

So I moved to the Trex600 model and that works fine for me. If I have that 100% under control I'll switch back to the Trex450 3D model.

I forget the numbers, but over on RC Groups there are the settings to make it fly more like a stock one.

Phoenix is supposed to be working on a stock Trex 450 model for us.
