Just posted an update video at the end of the list of vids. First flight I had tail wag but it was easily solved. I added a video explaining something to check on your Kasama tail.

Bob, did you fly the new head this weekend? What did you think?
is it a good or bad thing that there's no comment?

No comment? What do you mean?
You mean a comment by me how much I like it or not?
Well let me add one then.... I LOVE IT and would not go back to the old Raptor head.
This head is faster in cyclic which is what I wanted!

Hi,
I just bought a Kasama head for my Titan. I was disappointed that the instructions were lacking somewhat (none at all?). Since I have dialup and it would take days to download all of the videos, could someone please give me a brief description on which hole does what on the mixing arms and washout levers? I have no interest in 3D, but want to get into scale - so I would like to know what a mild setup would be. Are the stock ball link lengths used or do they change too?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I e-mail Grand and all they came back with was that "I set all of mine on the outside hole".
Thank You,
Harold.

I show the 611 which is the same. Look in my Trex600, Logo 14 vids.

Hey Bob, does the tailcase make the raptor quite tail heavy?

Hay Bob, do you thing that tail will work on the 600?
Not fully... the tail grips will work but the geometry is different so you will need to reduce throw to keep the grips from flipping the grip links inside thus locking up the tail... Hard to explain but I wouldnt do it myself.... It's just not the right setup.
Bob
Bob, I see Grand RC now has the Kasama tail for the Trex 600. From the description, they offset the grip control arm to prevent the grips from flipping the grip links? http://www.grandrc.com/inc/sdetail/95177

OK here is the Kasama head build
Installing the bearings in the grips and assembling them on the head
VIDEO -> Installing the grips, bearings, etc (57 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=grips.wmv)
OK thats going to finish it up except for a flight video! I cant wait to fly it this weekend :)
Bob
Bob - the oven temperatures you mention, are they in Degrees C ?? Also what grease did you use in the grip thrust bearings.
Cheers

I just built a kasama head with the help of bob's videos, thanks Bob :) I put the head on the heli and noticed that at full pos pitch the hoops bind at the washout with full cyclic in
any direction. The balls are in the outer hole, want best performance, on the washout arms. Anyone else have this problem? Heli is a raptor50 titan, radio is a futaba 9c

You DON'T have your swash height set right then... The hoops have plenty of room to get full pitch... I bet you did not lower your swash as needed per the documentation. YOU MUST lower the swash plate with this head to get full pitch throw! My video does say what you have to do. My hoops are NOT the limiting factor..... The limiting factor is going to low with the swash and it hitting the frame bearing block at full negative and cyclic. If your hoops are bottoming out you didn't lower your swash enough.
