Thanks to Ed at GrandRC.com I get a chance to test and play with the Kasama Head and tail assemblies for my eRaptor 620. He did not ask for a video series but I felt compelled to do them!

I have to say when I opened the box I loved the quality look of the machining of these parts! It was like getting jewelry or something ;)
But lets see how it all goes together and works!

Again big thanks to Ed at GrandRC for providing this stuff for me to share with you all.

So first up is a intro video showing the parts and quality:
VIDEO -> Intro to the Kasama upgrades (12 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=intro.wmv)

Here is assembling the tail
VIDEO -> Assembling and installing the Kasama Tail (49 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=tail.wmv)

OK here is the Kasama head build

Washout assembly. I had to do a slight mod to the arms so please watch this one.
VIDEO -> Assembling the Kasama Washout (25 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=washout.wmv)

Installing the bearings in the grips and assembling them on the head
VIDEO -> Installing the grips, bearings, etc (57 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=grips.wmv)

Building the seesaw
VIDEO -> Building and Installing the Seesaw (44 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=seesaw.wmv)

Head / linkage setup
VIDEO -> Head Setup(24 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=setup.wmv)

UPDATE! Do you have tail wag? If so be sure to see this update. Even if you dont have wag you might want to see this anyway.
VIDEO -> Solving a possible issue and tail wag (15 Megs) (http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=finless/kasama&filename=update.wmv)

OK thats going to finish it up except for a flight video! I cant wait to fly it this weekend :)

Hay Bob, do you thing that tail will work on the 600?

Finless

Not fully... the tail grips will work but the geometry is different so you will need to reduce throw to keep the grips from flipping the grip links inside thus locking up the tail... Hard to explain but I wouldnt do it myself.... It's just not the right setup.

Thanks Bob,

I'll try to download it again. I'm not at home, so it may be the connection here at Fort Rucker's lodging.

Extremely interested in these vids as I have recently aquired a rappy. Tired of waiting for the 600N.

Does Kasama have a website?

Hi,

it's too easy: www.kasama.com

But as I remember the original source of Kasama is
www.z-rc.com (Please correct me if I'm wrong  )

Greetings
