well i had sent the balls for my ball links to mortificate for him to grind the stand off down for me. i got them in alittle while ago. and now using my eyeball the swash is level, and everything works good. at full + pitch there is just hair of space left between the wash out block and head block. it doesnt touch it even on full cyclic throws... the swash tho at full - pitch is really close tot he frame when you move the cyclic but it doesnt tocuh. all i need now is a gyro and to get some one to test flight and trim the bird out.. my 3s 1500 20c pack will only give me like 2 minutes of hovering.. but i guess thats all i would need for awhile.. i still havent heard from home boy if he got the charger and tp packs back from his ex.. if he did he said he would ship out today.. but i havent heard from him at all since saturday...

eddo can you snap a pick of your swash at full -pitch. so i can see a reference of where it sits. also maybe 1 or 2 pics of full -pitch with full forward cyclic in and full rear cyclic. so i can judge how dead on i am by how close your swash gets the frame

tis all good. ive been tweaking thelinks for awhile now. i am able to move up to the wash out block to mixing arm links
ive got the swash set so that at full - pitch when i move the cyclic to full throws. the bearing on the underside of the swash is close to touching the main shaft collar the same amount all around but it doesnt touch it..

aite here are the pics of my swash at full -pitch. i should say that i still need to confirm my settings and further dial in the dx7...but it has been working well for me so far. got my first front and back flips, and left and right rolls (all stationary) yesterday!

it was but the bottem of the swas was covering the top 3rd of the main shaft collar
i cant seem to get it any better.
well i did get the swash raised slightly at full - pitch.. now i gotta make a few tweaks to the wash out block arms, then continue working my way up the head..

WEll hopefull if I ever get soldering iorn going I will be flying my CPP. After I get Racer 38 to help me get my set up back and get it tuned out. It is nice having a Guru in the area. It is amazing That there is people in IRAQ, soldiers that fly, It just shows how wide spread this hobby is, and how great the people involed in it are. Even though Racer 38 goes outside the wire, he will still find time to help us out if we have any questions. He is a real asset to the heli community.

whoa, i didn't realized you were in iraq man. be careful out there...and thank you for your service to our country! oh, and good luck w/the cpp! mine has been downed cuz i've been too lazy to trouble shoot a tail motor problem. i just been having fun w/the t-rex lately...wee!

so i did my first flip and rolls today, also held it inverted nose 20ft off the deck.. i was flying a vibe .90 those things are crazy big.. but seriously no effort what so ever for nose in hover.. god the fly so smooth and you know what its going to do before it does it... im tempted to sell the rex and spend the next 6 years buying part and fuel to get a vibe in the air.. well not really but i want one in the next few years

Eddo22 I am a civy over here I have been here 3 years I am prefectly safe,(well except for mortars, and an occasional trip in a shithook) , thanks to guys like Racer38, who are doing a great job and working their butts off. Tonight I am headed over to Racer38s hooch so that I can soldier my tail motor back on I am going to send the picts of all the work on my CPP new frame and all. I have not done as much as some of the other guys on their CPP's but the neat thing about it is that I am doing it in the middle of the desert with no LHS. and very few tools. but I will get it in the air. Between 12 hour shifts and working 7 days a week and 120 degree temps, it is hard to get the energy to do anything after hours.

It's gotta suck not having an lhs closeby. I gotta admire your effort...if it were that much of a hassle i probably would have lost interest a long time ago. do a lot of guys out there fly rc helis? oh yeah, pics of everbody's helis would be awesome...hehe.
