We have about 4 guys that fly over here, we order together so we have quite a stock of parts. I am new to the Hobby but today after lunch I decided that I was going to fly my CX outside. We had about 2-3 Kts it was a beautiful day for it. It flew great I had the shortened flybar on it. No problen penetrating the wind and it responded great. But I did not think about the fact that it was 122 degrees, The canopy now has neat little bubbles, and the clear plastic is white where the motors are. Nobody likes the E-flite batteries, but considering the heat that I am flying in they are doing great, I have 2 batteries that have probably 75 cycles on them and they have not poofed and they still give me 8-9 minutes of flt time per pack, my third pack has about 50 cycles on it and it also is in great shape. I do have some other batteries on order and we will see how they do. OH i only had one problem one of the flybar weights came out while in flt that was interesting. Has anyone had any problems with that.

use locktite on the hexscrews of the weights. I found that when the batt charger shows full steady red disconnect reconnect and about 5-`10 min later will bring the pack back to 15 min. :glasses2:

325mm pro woodies, blade grips, spindle, flybar and all flybar assemblies, landing struts, bottom frame plate all destroyed. i haven't even check the electronics yet...i'm just hoping they're ok.
i seriously plowed her into the ground...wasn't even doing anything crazy just a stall turn (man those are cool). but it was a serious lawn dart. something got funny with the control, i'm not sure if i ran it too long or what cuz i did forget to set the timer on the radio. coulda sworn it wasn't that long tho, guess it doesn't matter anymore...

yes stall turns are fun.. wait till you can pull up and send rocketing into the sky. throw in some piros. then come back down and exit fbf ( fast backwards flight).. i can only do it on the sim.but still i think that a stal turn is goingto be one of my first real tricks. i can pull it off but i still got get over the puckering up..

good to hear you are that much closer to gettin yours in the air btw...

i think i might try those on the sim right now...i got tomorrow off so i'm just chillin' tonight. too bad both my heli's are down...that's what i was gonna be doin on my day off...fu#$!

man if you spend 3 horus a day on the sim. you will be amazed at what you can do inside of a week.. in 2 weeks i learned side in, nose in hovering. stall turns. tic tocs, inverted tic toc's, inverted hovering, inverted stall turns.. i started putting togather a line so to speak... the thing that got me was that after that 2 weeks i no longer had any trouble with what stick to move and where to move it, no matter what way the heli was facing..

thanks about the trex man , i am dieing to fly it...

it will get up eventually, I will probably get a Trex when I go home on R+R, If I can keep the CPP in the air. I flew it 2 packs and did not crash it, :glasses2:
