I haven't been impressed with my 600n and was looking at the Extreme. I'm not familiar with the RJX stuff so I'm curious about the quality. Are there any nagging problems that haven't been or need to be addressed? What about parts availability and pricing? Is RJX USA the only source?

Only having looked it over (and photographed it) at a couple of fun flys I can say it looks like a nice little kit. I was going to fly one at our last fly in but I dont like test flying someone elses heli with the wind howling at 20 knots. But I'm giving serious consideration to getting one.

Gscott,
Quality is awesome. Yeah I know I sell them but that is why I sell them, because the machines are a very nice quality, stable bird. We, (Rjx of USA) is the parts source but we are working with Hobby shops around the country to carry our products. The Hurrican's parts interchange with the Airskipper so, there is another resource for parts (Horizion Hobbys) but I have been suppling their customers with parts for the Airskipper 50 when they are out of stock.
RjX has been in the Industry for a long time but has been behinde the seanes suppling other companies. Now we have our own line to offer. The cool thing is I'm a hobbiest first so, I will make sure anyone and everyone who purchases our products will have a peice of mind knowing they will be taken care of to the end, please ask around and see if those flying the Hurrican are happy with their support and post your findings here for all to see. Thanks for the interest and happy fling.

I've had all kinds of heli's. And I'm no 3d wizard. I can hold my own. But the hurrican is just an awsome machine. well built and sturdy. RJXofUSA has great support. you will find them on every major forum. Not once have I asked something and Rusty not got with me on it with in a couple hours. He's great.

I had a chance to fly next to a 600N you wouldnt believe the outcome. The 600N doesnt fly like a 50 Niether. But the Hurrican is much better. I lost my part of my flybar assembly and it held together and finished what was in the tank. Ordered the parts and I am sure Rusty will have them here in no time.

The Hurrican is a good quality machine and with alittle bit of fine tuning it weighs in @ 7lbs 11oz depnding on rx battery.
I fly hard 3d and I am really impressed with the quality of this machine

The Xtreme will definately raise the bar for performance but for now the Hurrican is the way to go and they are on SALE!!!! :smokin:

Thanks for all the info.

Is there an ETA on the Extreme? Also, I noticed some parts missing from the website like side frames. How much are the replacement G10 frames?

Gscott,

I've got the first 007 carbon production kit that RjX brought into the US, it has over 2 cases of fuel thru it and my son Steven our RjX Team pilot has been flying it hard since I built it. It has held up to everything he can through at it and guys like Bobby Smith who have seen him progress and grow into a very capable 3D pilot will tell you he can ring it's neck, we had a clunk line come off while inverted and he flipped it and ended up autoing with the wind and had a real hard fast landing and all it did did was break the carbon boom, we also had a revo whip attena wire snap off right at the plastic and it slammed into the ground level from a few feet and only broke one side of the landing gear, this is one tough bird, we have the full metal complement that RjX makes, including the tail case and it is all holding up very well. I'm very impressed with the quality and support of RjX of USA, rusty goes out of his way to take care of his customers.

Well Clyde I have the first and only silver 007. Today I guess it wanted to be a tree. I planted that sucker hard. Had a lockout from about 100 ft up, 3/4 throttle and inverted. Bad thing is it was right above the runway and heading inward. Took about two seconds to relize there was nothing I could do, except yell run which we all did. Luckily it landed between two pilot plantforms and noone was around.

I had some hard crashes before and much worse flying lower.
Here some pics to so how tough this sucker is. And no kidding this thing was screaming on the way down. Thank god it landed in mud. I'm sure it would havve been much worse.

Well I just want everyone to know how tough this heli is. I once crashed a raptor about 30 ft up doing flips. And it totaled that poor sucker. The hurrican came down at about 100ft p and the frame is still there. good head, no broken gears, or anything. I need two of these suckers :noteworthy
