Guys, I'm saying this just incase you are going to buy a gov soon for your new gassers...You might want to wait....I'm in the middle of testing the CSM Revlock for gassers. Even in a poor configuration, it is the cats fanny.. Just to good to be true for us gassers guys..It should be out by the end Jan ..You can kiss overspeeding goodby even the way I'm running it now... We're going to do the digi side tomorrow hopefully...
Regards,
Bill

Sounds good Bill,

I've been running the Model Avionics Revmax on my Bergen, I'm liking it as well...

Look forward to hearing more on the Revlock...

Well, I had the unit go out today on the digi side... Guess it didn't like the 9352, but it was doing pretty good.... I think it was to much current thru the controller...
I'm sure they can find the problem.. I really don't think that type of speed is needed , because the reg speed servo done fine....
Just thought I would let you folks know the not so good side too... :)

Thank you for keeping us up to date Bill. John and I would be VERY interested to try the Revlock ourselves and we are finding the 26 seems to need it worse than the 231, but both could use this type of a device to improve their overall user friendliness. What I mean by this, is that overspeed is something that occurrs on gassers worse than on their glow counterparts because of all the rotational mass of the gas motor (and I'm sure other reasons I am to dumb to know) If you have flown gassers before you know what I am talking about. It is something you learn to manage with finesse of the sticks/flight modes/throttle curves, but a device like this could really reduce the learning curve for new gasser helicopter owners.

Our hobby is really coming into a modern age of technology and as we help to promote and grow the hobby, great things come back to us. I love that!!

Thanks again for keeping us up to date Bill!! You ROCK man!!!!

I don't know about that Will, I'm one of Rays internet experts though, and stay at the Holiday inn every now and then, hehe (read that in his first article) Just kidding Ray:) Nice job!
Thank you for the cudos though... I've since learn I experenced a complete reset on the gov... Don't know why yet, but thats what happen...I still feel this unit is going to be well recieved once the bugs are out... My main interest is just to help on the over reving portion, and this unit has certainly done that..I'm just glad that we'll also have others to choose from from the way it sounds. The more the better for us gasser folks:)

Bill

Manoman, I'm getting to feeble to operate a 9 Z anymore...Since I fly without a gov sometime, I use throttle delay... This, and changing the control to AFR from ATV corrected everything...The 9253 is doing ok.. I could'nt tell any difference from digi mode to reg mode using that servo other than using more battery, so I'm leaving it in normal mode:) In fact, just doing what they say on a .16 speed servo, it will do just fine... I think I'm going to just fly it, and quit messing with it now, hehe... Its doing great:)

Bill

Hi Guys...new to gassers and was wondering about these RevLocks...whats the differance between these and the "Stator Gator/GV1 Combo" do they do any thing different and or better...? Is it just price$...?

Thanks

It out performs the Gv1 big time with the Stator gator... My main thing is just so it keeps the machine from over-reving... Works real good so far:)

Can't wait to try one Bill. I know Bill is 100% straight up and if you say it out performs the GV-1 by that big a margin, I am going to try one. :)

Thanks for the heads-up Bill!!
