tips tips and more tips.... :D

Yes, file, sand, gind, or knarl them down with your teeth to get the tail boom supports sitting an the proper angle so they dont put extra pressure on the supports, I have broke a few of these too.... before the file job, (I also filed the tail boom support to the same angle.

On that auto bearing support ring.... Crank that sucker down tight! Really tight.. Just before you think you are going to bread the screw tight!... If you break the screw..... not quite so tight.

I seen the pic of the pretty AZ canopy.... Ray... Let Kyle fly the #$%^ out of that machine... dont add to the pucker factor with a really nice canopy... It would be nice for all the big funflys though ...

I gave you some wrong advice.... I said I use 3 bearings in the tail boom... Na.. I only have 2 in most of my machines... and when you get a replacement CF torque rod, the 2 bearings and carriers are alread on it (still need glued to position) and the ends are already drilled and pre pinned. Nice.. but cant remove easily to add that 3rd bearing...

Ray, you can drill holes in the frames in the bottom corners, to lower the boom supports. The head of a 3mm buttom head cap screw will fit in the corner nicely, and not interfere with the tank.

That canopy wont slow Kyle down. I work extra hard at not letting him worry about the cost. I don't want cost to limit his flying in any way. I might feel different if he was crashing a lot but he only put one in last year and it mostly wasn't his fault.

I did some grinding/filing work on the boom supports and will drop the supports per Al's suggestion.

I have 3mm button heads if you need, Ray.

I installed the 91 tooth main gear that Al so graciously supplied.
All I need now is milder weather. :(

Let him fly it. I saw what he did with the 50. That 90 is going to be a lot more fun and he will be able to do a lot more with it. I for one can't wait to fly my 30.

Nightflyer, you are REALLY behind the eightball on this one!
