What are the pros and cons of the Joker vs. Logo 10 vs. Logo 20 as a system for a Panasonic sd1 setup?

Is one setup overkill, too small, size advantages/stability comparisons...

All good helis. The joker line seems to be more "industrial".

The L10 and L20 are being replaced with the L500 and L600 in the next month or so.

I think the L6003d can run up to 650mm blades on stock setup.

"Industrial" what do you mean? Is that a good thing?

Also, do you know the blade specs for the L10, L20 and Joker comparisons. That was helpful info regarding the replaced L series and blade specs.

Yes its a good thing. I mean it will last a long time, high quality, tight tolerance, good materials, design etc....

L10/L500 = 500-550mm
L600 = up to 650mm
Joker line anywhere from 600 to 800mm

Do a search on the helis for specs etc...

I use a stretched Logo 24 to carry my SD1. 720mm mains, 360 underslung mount, 10s 5000 FlightPower packs, Z50-600 motor. Get about 9 minutes at 14lb AUW.

I also use a stretched Logo 10 with a front mount sometimes but it is more susceptible to wind.

How does your shot stability compare between the two. Is a 20 closer in size to a 10 or 24?

the bigger the better.

the 20 is basically a dumbed down version of the 24. Either needs to be stretched to at least 680's for smoother video

DJ,
I have been trolling heli forums for a while before speaking. One thing is obvious, your opinion/advice carries respect. As a published photographer I have noted your quality ap work.

24 it is and "bigger is better." Thus, I have to assume a Joker 2 is better than a Mini J.

Next question: Logo 24 or Joker 2? comparisons of each?

Thanks again to everyone for advice on each system.

The Logo 24 has taken a back seat at Mikado sue to the new Logo 500 and Logo 600 soon to be released. So they are hard to get new right now but rumor is after the initial burst of new Logo models is released and distributed Logo 24 supply will fall back into line.

The Logo 24 and Joker 2 are very similar in terms of size and handling. The Joker 2 has the edge when it comes to looking pretty due to the all metal head and tail assembly. Either one is a fine machine. The Logo 24 is an older design and not as well suited to the form factor of Lipo batteries, but it can be adapted to fit them easily.

Joker 2 is a larger machine and as I said, bigger is better in terms of stability. I had a stretched Joker CX last year and it was a finely engineered machine. I just opted to go with Mikado as I have had nothing short of spectacular results with thier product line.

I fly nothing but Mikado now... save for the scale MD500E I have that runs Raptor mechanics.
