Rebuild is all done 30ish pounds is all it cost :D

Needed new:-
Frame upper and lower, Battery tray, main shaft, feathering shaft, fly bar, paddles, main gear, tail boom and that old favorite the landing skids! :shock:

She flys just as great now as she always has done and as for me , Well I think I can fly a little better now (sim time!) LOL

Í'm puzzled when I look at the pictures;

I can see a training landing-gear and a can see the sad remains of a high-speed and/or high-altitude crash.
What is the training gear doing under the bird?

I was under the impression that once a pilot can perform a controlled hover and landing, the need for a training-gear is no longer there.

I am a newb so maybe I have the wrong idea so please correct me if so.

I do a lot of hovering practice, nose in ect in my back garden which is handy because I dont need to travel to a flying field, The training gear is handy for that and I cant be fussed to keep taking it off and putting it back on again.
It also keeps the tail out of the long grass..........I really should get that mower out :D

THX kamakazikev24, that sounds like a good reason to stick with the training-gear for a while.
