I have a TRex 450 SE V2 which included the GY401 gyro and S9650 servo. It is commanded by an AR7000 receiver bound to a DX7 radio.

After the crash all was repaired and we found that the tail servo now responds slowly. Connecting the servo directly to the RUDD port does not eliminate the problem. Connecting the servo to the ELEV port eliminates the problem. What's the deal? I haven't changed any settings (I set them up before I found this place so the gyro had my ghettosetup in operation) and the cause of the crash was stupidity, not electronic. There are no signs of physical damage to the receiver, which is located in the rear of the model while first impact was to the right front skid.

I would be looking in the transmitter programs for something that might be on in rudder programming.

Sometimes a crash can damage a receiver no matter how light of a crash you think it was. I have seen hard landings damage compontents in a receiver before.

Check the tx programming closely to make sure you have not accidentally turned on anything in the rudder channel that affects the speed.

Well, I put the whole thing back together again and now the servo responds normally. I changed some settings and made it work, but I guess the underlying problem is still there. Voodoo.
