Hi, I'm trying to line up my motormount so that I have the least resistance when I turn the starter shaft so that I know that my motor is lined up correctly.

it's ok when I put in 3 of the 4 bolts, but when I tighten up the bolt left upper side where my sb50jk is mounted then I feel a resistance on the starter shaft when I turn it by hand...

how can I fix this?

Install all 4 frame to motor mount bolts and tighten them down.

While spinning the start shaft backwards slowly tighten each of the 4 motor to motor mount bolts one at a time, if you feel resistence back off a 1/8th of a turn and move to another, eventually you should get all 4 tight with a minimum or resistence.

The way I do it is similar (and I can not take credit for it since I read it somewhere)
I put all 4 screws and let them loose, then as I spin the engine with the starter I tighten the screws. After that I remove one at a time and apply loctite to them
